Stora Blåsjön is a lakeside village in the mountains of northern Jämtland, six kilometers from the Norwegian border. By winter OR summer you can delight in the peaceful surroundings of the area’s unspoiled nature.

Despite its remoteness, there’s a complete range of services nearby for your visit. At the well-stocked ICA supermarket you will find not only fresh-baked bread, but also petrol for your snowmobile and a variety of general merchandise.

Just 300 metres from the cabins lies the foot of the Mesklumpen ski area. With an impressive 525 metres of vertical drop, Mesklumpen ranks fourth after classic Swedish ski resorts like Åre, Hemavan and Björkliden. If fishing is more your style, the lakes contain both char and trout. Motor enthusiasts will find snomobile trails so near by that it’s possible to park right outside your cabin.
